OBSERVATIONS
|
The trademarks law Nº 17.011 of
Uruguay, allows the registry of a single trademark in the 42
International classes.
The use of the registered trademark is not required to conserve
the rights over the same.
The average duration of the registry procedure is from 9 months
to 12 months, and the renovation takes from 2 months to 9 months.
The validity of the registry is for 10 years counted from the
date of the concession.
If the label or in the denomination figures the name of the
product or of the service it may only be protected that
indicated product or service.
If one requests to claim priority Certified copy of the
corresponding application foreign it is needed. The document of
priority can be attached 90 counted later days from the
presentation of the registration application. |
